Happy birthday, friend. That’s a massive (and very recent loss) and I’m sending you big positive vibes. Losing a close loved one is one of the absolute heaviest things in life. Rest assured that the grief does subside though, as you begin to understand and embrace the new reality. Take heart in all of the positive experiences that you two shared together in life. That good, real energy will always be there to draw from. I’m just about your age (one year north of ya), and I lost my mom 5 years ago and my dad 8 years ago. Both passed unexpectedly and it was heartbreaking, but I know now that they’re still with me in many ways. That energy is real. And again, Happy Birthday 😊🤙

Thank you so much, it means a great deal. I'm sorry for your loss too, to lose both so close together must have been incredibly hard. My mum and dad divorced when I was very young and it was just mum and me. She lived with me and my family and it's very raw, but it meant she spent every day with her grandkids which I know she loved. 🫂💜

That right there shows that she was genuinely loved by you and your family. That’s the real deal 👍. It will continue to feel raw for a while, and don’t hesitate to lean on friends and family as you need to. Take good care of yourself in the days and weeks ahead.
