Not sure how to answer or explain this. Based on family and friends still involved, I think they would say yes. We do not associate with any groups of “believers” anymore.

So you don’t think you have a soul? You think when you die it all ends? Just goes black?

I’m not sure. I don’t have any evidence that I have one. I am certainly open to that “bit” that is me that is not my body carrying on somehow after death but I am also totally fine if it all just goes black.

Sounds perfect for a wager haha:

The “church” is very disappointing in many ways.

Read what Jesus said about the churches they had of the day.

“Den of vipers” “servants of hell”

Christ said in Matthew 7:13-14

*Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.*

- so if the majority don’t find salvation, what does that say about most people “going to church” today?

The best thing is to just read the words of Christ. At face value- not with all the “church” stuff in the way.

Perhaps if you don’t see the spirits or yourself as one at all, you can try an old medicine:

If it adds to any “evidence” you gather, I testify to you that we (thinking humans) are in fact spirits inhabiting bodies, and when the body dies our experience changes significantly- but it does not end.

God bless!
