It won't. Wealthy people are a different tax construction (box 2). This mostly impacts middleclass folks. On top of that it mostly impacts people who invest in volatile assets, i.e. crypto.
For more boring stuff like Shell shares it won't make much of a difference.
In other words, I wouldn’t stress it. Sounds like a politicized talking point.
