Been about two weeks to download 84500 blocks of the blockchain, index, and synch fulcrum over tor behind a vpn. Will probably be another week before fully up to date.
Get your full nodes in order. All these 1TB nodes will need to be updated.

Almost at 80% synchronization for my first node! I set it up on a spare laptop yesterday via Starlink and I’m hoping to be fully synced sometime tomorrow 🥳

Made an IBD this week. Took 2 days. It was a NUC and I set dbcache=30000 in bitcoind.conf(30GB), but the NUC had 64GB total. Moreover I used assumed UTXO and loaded the UTXO snapshot. But the snapshot validation has finished after 2 days.
What I want to say: RAM is the limiting factor.
This sounds like a long time, last time I synced a node, it took about 36 hours.
