- Bitcoin Safe: Desktop-Wallet mit geführtem Multisig-Onboarding und Nutzung ohne eigenen Electrum-Server. Ideal, um endlich ein echtes Multisig-Savings-Setup aufzubauen, ohne im UX-Dschungel zu versinken.
🤖 Bitcoin + KI: Anonym nutzen statt Daten komplett zu verschenken
- Maple AI 2.0: Open Source, verschlüsselt, anonyme Accounts, Bezahlung u.a. mit Bitcoin/LN/Cashu. Spannend für alle, die keine eigene Pleb-Node-Selfhosted-KI fahren können (vgl. unsere E260).
- Breez MCP-Server: Brücke zwischen KI-Agents und Lightning (Invoices erstellen, Sats senden, Balances checken). Wer Bots oder Automatisierungen rund um Zahlungen baut, kann hiermit Prototypen testen – aber: Limits setzen, damit kein Agent deine Wallet leert.
🛠 Nodes, Nostr & neue Privacy-Tools
- Umbrel 1.5: Endlich eine ernstzunehmende Backup-Lösung inkl. Lightning. Empfehlung: weg vom Raspi, hin zu stärkerem Mini-PC/Umbrel Home, bevor ihr euch beim Backup-Experiment den Node zerlegt.
- Gittr (gitter.space): GitHub-Alternative auf Nostr-Basis – interessant, wenn ihr Code resistenter gegen Zensur hosten wollt (z.B. für euren eigenen Podcast-Manager oder Open-Source-Projekte).
- White Noise: Nostr-DMs ohne Metadaten-Leak? In der Praxis noch hakelig – wir bekommen DMs nicht zuverlässig durch. Erkundet es mit uns!
- BlindBit (Alpha): Desktop-Wallet, die Silent Payments ernst nimmt – eine öffentliche Donation-Adresse, aber On-Chain immer neue Empfangs-Adressen.

🔥 Kontroversester Punkt der Folge

Then their node should have significantly more outbound than inbound liquidity to make them harder to reach. Currently, the opposite is the case.

You seem to have hardly any liquidity left in your public channels. 85% of your channels have a fee of 5000 ppm and are therefore depleted from your point of view.

At first, it was a learning project, also to get more familiar with Golang.
I believe that for any information that is public anyway (e.g. Amboss), you should consider making it available on Nostr. Otherwise, you are always dependent on a central provider which can close its business.
In addition, as soon as there is a relevant network effect, you can also expand the project.
For example
- Automatic push notifications when a peer announces maintenance.
- Or the exchange of further information, e.g., about currently poorly maintained nodes in the network (with high latencies), which are then automatically excluded from pathfinding at other nodes.
The fundamental problem is always how to trust the information on Nostr if you cannot verify that it has actually created a lightning node.
