Go for it. Claude is pretty fantastic at making software dreams come true.
Inspired by folks here, after learning what I could about how to get started, I've been vibecoding this week!
They say to start simple. I'm not... I'm building a powerful app I've wished existed for a long time, and have wanted to build before.
I'm working on it piece by piece, starting with UI/UX, keeping the eventual backend functionality in mind.
I understand databases and do a lot with software, but I've never written code or built my own tools before. We'll see how far I can get! If I get there, my goal is to share it on nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 (and tell friends that's where they can get it)! If I really get stuck, pausing this project and working on one of my simpler ideas is always an option.
I've been inspired watching nostr:nprofile1qqsgmjrgsgqtg3lv9eqp36j7gtw96jqfgr9n7xw23ump62qhnhzt5hspr9mhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet59uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcaart0k build all kinds of things, nostr:nprofile1qqsr7acdvhf6we9fch94qwhpy0nza36e3tgrtkpku25ppuu80f69kfqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy0hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttjv4kxz7fwv3jhyettwfhhxuewd4jj7lal3ny show people what's possible, and nostr:nprofile1qqsq6myr3rwtqjdcm48u357ccwae8h3a4y96s28y7zwg458ngeyg5vcpzpmhxue69uhnzdps9enrw73wd9hszxmhwden5te0vd58y6tnw3cxjmrv9ehx7um5wgcjucm0d5xm2d0r's helpful video showing how some of it works... Thank you!

It's good that it has usage limits - makes me come up for air and remember the other responsibilities of life!
Yeah. I've got the max edition and now working until 2am and starting fresh at 8am became a routine.
Either way, produced more in a month than I'd be able to produce in 3 years and I'm an engineer writing code since almost 30 years.
Some things to complain, especially because the quality underneath the hood isn't that excellent for complex projects but you get to go so much further than with any other tools.
Yes. I have a few people around who can help me look over the code to make sure it's in decent shape. And I imagine I'll learn some myself along the way.
