Monero provides real privacy (for now) so the govt is desperate to convince you not to use it.

Probably because they’ve been involved in fraudulent practices for a while now. I’ve been warning about this for some time lol.

Anyway, government isn’t going to allow a currency that allows obfuscation of the source of funds or money laundering. It’s just that simple.

I agree. My point is that if you are involving yourself in anything that is a legal grey area you should treat it as completely illegal and either a) avoid it altogether or b) obfuscate what you're doing as much as possible. Cryptocurrency is a legal grey area as anyone who has tried to get a straight answer out of the SEC will confirm.
