I keep hearing the rest of the world needs dollars desperately. Well maybe I can buy Bitcoin p2p using stable coins while non-US folks get the dollars they need. Perfect fiat on-ramp to btc!
I agree 100%. Also, people keep saying that itās soooo difficult to explain Bitcoin to people but then proceed to explain stablecoins to them š¤
I still donāt see the need for stable coins beyond detracting away from Bitcoin as these stable coins are pegged to a currency that is on a downward trajectory.
Bitcoin is a Global Money, not a reserve currency. I think people are still mixing that up.
