* Backup the fucking SCB, no joke. Back it up well.

* Don't have too many channels, 2 or 3 is enough

* Open channels unannounced to maximize privacy

* Don't use any auto-rebalancing/auto-management tools or plugins, it's not worth it. Keep it simple.

2. 1M is the current golden rule but who knows

3. I prefer to just open my own unnanounced channels to big well connected nodes like ACINQ and Olympus and then get inbound liquidity by spending (e.g. selling on robosats) or looping-out using loopd from Lightning Labs.

4. Defaults are good

Have you recouped your initial channel opening fees? A sat saved is a sat earned.
