Talking about #shitcoins sure does seem to pay, I was doing some research on a the cost of a press release and got prices from a bunch of popular news sites who are charging anything from

10 - 50 million satoshis per article

For 1 Bitcoin you can probably get 10 - 12 articles written about you, then spin up a website and paid for wikipedia page to look legit, slap the news site logos on your website and you should look legit enough to sucker people into your pre-sale

Once you get enough on-chain interest, some shitcoin casino will want to get in on the pump, along with a bunch of useful idiots on Twitter, or you can pay some shills to share your listing and that my friends is how turn 1-1.5 BTC into a a bunch of exit liquidity

Not all of them will work, but many of them do, and thats why this cycle will repeat over and over

#[1] This is why we must socially shun and shame the practice.

Some people you can just point out logical flaws in the reasoning behind the marketing of what they're buying and they wake up

Some people, know exactly what they're doing. For them its all about the dollars anyway. Those are the people who need shamed and shunned.

i'm fairly sure that under a fairly strict reading of SEC regulations these people are all involved in ponzi schemes.

but what a wonderful way to wash bloody fiat, also. that's why nothing is being done.

Xplain more.
