I think the bitkey is an excellent device and hasn’t been getting the appreciation it deserves

My family benefits from both. Some people will use a cold card and some folks will use a nostr:npub1tcnvkw8fu29zspw54tuhfrk0tkzn6qdupmc45slt4zmase3dzqask6ctu0 but the win is we now have OPTIONS and we no longer need to FULLY trust a 3rd party.

There will always be a need to trust someone. Ffs I don’t know how to fly a plane so I’m choosing to trust the pilot to have his shit together.

This comment comes with love. Far from upset. It’s because I’ve seen you recommend bitkey so many times and speak so positively, that it’s a bummer to see the shift in how you discuss it on RHR the last few weeks.

Your recent comments compared to how you discussed it during the Bitcoin veterans chats and when bitkey first arrived on the scene is quite the change in tone.

Like I said, I feel celebrating the win that people have options and the free market will decide. I’m all for the seed phrase but I understand many won’t want that responsibility,just like some people will know how to pop the hood open on their car if it breaks down and others will need AAA. Options.
