Truth is nothing more than 1) agreement, and 2) confirmation based upon expenditure of energy.
It’s not enough to agree. That agreement requires a commitment of resources. The greater the commitment, the more immutable the truth.

Perhaps - but our ability to know the truth retrospectively very much depends on energy expenditure and agreement.
Sure. If everyone says the sky is blue and I say it’s green, being out of consensus should cause me to go back and evaluate my assumptions and eyesight. But everyone may say the sky is green and spend a great deal of energy on that propaganda campaign and it may still be wrong.
You’re missing the energy expenditure component - that’s why your example is low signal.
