What networks does it run on? Is it using spark?

onchain only for now on the bitcoin side, should be interesting to see how they handle lightning support

For the tether though?

I suspect it’s on Liquid (BTC, USDT & Tether Gold support)

FWIW its eth and polygon

Their FAQ does say Lightning support, so maybe it will be at launch

No liquid mentioned, which honestly i suspected — I dont think anyone is using liquid tbh

Interestingly, they also are supporting TON for XAUT which is Telegrams chain

I stand corrected. Spark for BTC makes sense here… lower fees.

Yes, they will use Spark:

I hope Tether will come to Spark so wallet devs don’t have to integrate 5 chains. lol

Probably Tether will mint on Spark too. And what about Stashpay, will you integrate Spark?

I think Spark has great trade-offs wrt UX and fees. But I’m kinda turned off by the public transaction explorer (I know it can be deactivated now, but why would anyone think that’s a good idea?). Also confidential transactions are only coming for tokens, not BTC. In general my impression is bitcoin privacy isn’t really a priority for Spark?

On most wallets is deactivated by standard and users doesn't even have option to enable it? So privacy is the standard.

But yes, everything has tradeoffs and I'm ok with the Spark ones. Good that we have options.

I'm using nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt for now.

Qualquer ajuda é bem vinda irmão

How do spark users verify that it’s now deactivated for their wallet (specifically in the case where they’ve created their wallet before the feature went live)?

Doxxing all user payments by default and later shipping an opt-out seems like a strange design decision. Some of the most knowledgable people in the wallet development space were surprised something like the public explorer even exists.

They have to be right?

This seems like a massive red flag. How do you roll out live payments on the internet and not use Lightning? (but immediately have Tether integrated....)

They will use spark.money for lightning.
