There seem to be so many problems that sometimes it is hard to understand how the US can still be a super power. I'm worried that when we fall, we will fall hard and fast.

It's hard to understand when you focus on all the dumb stuff the US government does. It's a little easier when you also look at how dumb all the other governments are.
That is true. The whole world is messed up.
I think being the world reserve currency and having the whole world messed up has saved the US so far, but I do think the US being the world's sole super power is coming to an end. I just hope it doesn't come by our foolish leaders deciding to go to war against nations like China and Russia, starting to lose, and then going nuclear.
