In this context, Anti-fiat land. Many people who donβt believe in bitcoin still believe the creation of the federal reserve was criminal.
it's a *fairly* American sort of anti-establishment perspective to have. we have anti-authoritarian perspectives in Europe too, but they don't tend to be so focused around the money supply. that's quite an American thing to do.
Eastern Europe has recent experience with hyperinflation.
Euro adoption or sticking with a national fiat currency is a major point of discussion.
Yeah thereβs probably several reasons for that. The ECB is just as criminal, but I think we focus a lot more on the Fed since itβs policies directly affect the dollar (international trade settlement) and what other central banks decide to do, so itβs behavior has more weight.
