What's more important for Lightning?

A) Punishment for bad behaviour when someone tries to steal

B) No risk of losing all funds in a channel due to a freak accident

Both are mutually exclusive, that's the catch 🤙

Although a middle ground is possible (you don't have to have 100% punishments, 0% risk etc).

or make the decision based on the relationship with the peer
