Ok, sure. I just find it ironic how content creators will say likes mean nothing while also reminding everyone to "smash the like button. It really helps."
😂 They do that because the platforms they use reward it. The platforms reward it because it drives ad revenue, which the creators then share in. It’s a cycle that turns user attention into a currency as creators focus on making content that the platforms reward. Nostr breaks the cycle so creators can focus on making content for people, but it requires that reciprocal engagement via reposts/zaps/replies. “Likes” are worthless.
