It allows so much hidden evil, and it’s why rejecting a CBDC at all costs is a hill to die on. Imagine the evil that could be done with a globally adopted CBDC.

Now that I notice, no image or video are loading. And it's only happening on Amethyst. 
Okay, the issue is resolved. Apparently I had hundreds of relays added. As a last resort, I deleted all the relays and kept the default ones. This solved the images and videos not loading issue.

That is so spot on!! The bank cannot be poor, since it can print more money. The first step after printing is spending it, first time spending does not have the tax you spoke of the market does not know the money is printed. The us is the bank of the world, its prints money spends it and the inflation is slowly spread throughout the world.
One can learn a lot by the response of the US when they hear the murmur of a different currency being used instead of dollar for trade.
