I zap from the web-based version of Primal and it works. But if you want to integrate Primal’s wallet into another desktop app, I’m not sure. Maybe see if it supports NWC. In that case it should work.

In Primal web go to settings, connected wallets, and either connect your primal wallet or another NWC wallet. If you are on macOS or ipadOS, then the Nostur app has a nice desktop interface when installed. I use that mostly on desktop.
