Sometimes I feel isolated because I only use #Nostr and have abandoned corporate platforms such as X, Facebook, and Instagram. This feeling is because no one in my family uses Nostr. They use those platforms.
I know it’s worth the mission. They will join one day. Their day.
Just a thought I had after searching my brother’s Instagram to see his recent posts then closed browser to open Damus.
Same here. Haven't used social media in forever but I wish family and friends used #nostr. It'll just take time I guess

I think we could get less bitcoiners on here and maybe some no coiners just because it’s more censorship resistant.
That might appeal to those being deplatformed or that care about censorship resistants.
But how do we purple pill the average person that doesn’t care?
Even my btc friends have a hard time and pushback against Nostr, the protocol aspect goes over their heads.
They just think it’s an app.
