Colour me shocked
Starting to watch "Fight Club".. have to make same equilibrium after watching GaldiatorShit. ☯️
Watched it 2 times already but it's passed 10 years since last time. Very likely will discover dozens of new senses and messages I didn't and wasn't able to catch before.
Why was it a shit movie? Is it full of DEI actors and messages? Did they use donkeys instead on lions in colosseum scenes?
Yes, donkey, rhynos, a tiger but in the cage, and a battle ships.. those naval battles actually happened but they were in the Circus Maximus not in the Coliseum as in the movie. Anyway it's not that I was watching it for some historical realistic representation but more cause as teenager I liked the first one.
Dei actors, yeah but not so much, stupid and empty messages, poor story.. even a kid wouldn't like it much I believe.
Some of the dialogues are ridiculous and it takes some liberties with historical events. However, I think Ridley Scott does not disappoint in what is his trademark: grandiosity.
Ahh… I hated the character assigned to Pedro Pascal (a waste of talent).
Yeah, very likely I miss the grandiosity of it because the quality wasn't the best, I am a pirate streaming watcher 😅 sorry Ridley Scott, not sorry.
I watched the film in the cinema with one of my sons.
I only liked one line. Something like this: “Where I go, you are; where you go, I am”
I think waste of talent is more like Ridley Scott's trademark
It's good to know that Pedro Pascal did this. It's one of the reasons why he is so appreciated. He is not afraid to stand up to injustice.
Thanks for sharing! 🙏
Darn I was hoping to enjoy it…just a shit storyline or?
Yeah story line is "meh".. it's like made in two months just for the sake of selling it knowing the name would do the rest. FIAT MOVIE.
I found it entertaining.. but the story and dialogue are basic. It lacks the epic and depth of the 1st.
For people asking more questions I think this helps sum up the issues with it.
Too bad... The OG was phenomenal
