Out of the client panel the clear message is that there is a real gap in the V4V flow to client devs. It has not nearly reached sustainability level, so it remains a passion project for most.
I have to admit the talk of VC funding being the only path out of this was disturbing. Most panelists reject it, but one is already walking it.
Thoughts? Does this bother you as well?

BTW #[1] I am ready to sign up for subscription as soon as you can support it. Hopefully we can resolve the above in that way.
It is disturbing for me. Nostr clients can shift their model to a paid one, while offering more functionalities. I think most of us here would pay.
Where is the freedom in decision taking and community first when a VC will be guiding most decisions and looking for ROI all the time !

That’s not surprising given the amount of work that goes into a client.
I think devs need to he more vocal if they’re being stretched. If they announced a zap raiser every week or month, I’m sure they would have no problem hitting it.
