This is exactly why I say you gotta get in quick lol 😆 These guys come along and pump up the hash rate, making it costly for others to enter and compete for the remainder of the epoch. I've thought about this and come to the conclusion that it's unavoidable 😅

It's sort of a dumb strategy because it minimizes the number of players, resulting in smaller pots. At the end, these people basically end up getting their money back with maybe a few extra sats. If they waited for more people to join before pushing up the hashrate, the pot would be much larger at the end, and winning would actually mean winning.
