If you are a follower of Christ, you must not engage in politics. Period. Full stop. No exceptions.
Especially you Catholics I dearly love but can't see the obvious that the Catholic Church was captured to be a political pawn and not much else.
Because a little leaven fermints the whole batch. Some well meaming people may go in, the dough rises as they become pragmatic, and evil is baked in after a little time in the state oven.
