I follow myself on nostr because back in the day (on Damus I believe it was) if you did you got a little check or tick or color variation by your name.
Those were the days where getting a verified domain was the thing too and then came badges… tons and tons of badges.
Anyone else remember the following yourself thing?

My 1st client was Current and it defaulted to you followed yourself when I spun this npub up.
I feel like I spun up a profile with Astral Ninja that loaded my notes but served up a different npub in the early days, but I was jumping in with such reckless abandon that I remember very little.
I follow myself and can‘t remember how that happened 😳
