He's said some other shit that made me question his judgement, but fortunately he doesn't get to decide how people use or build on the protocol.
There are many reasons to build on Nostr, but to me the main one is the fact that we don't have a central codebase anywhere.
If nostr:nprofile1qqsrhuxx8l9ex335q7he0f09aej04zpazpl0ne2cgukyawd24mayt8gprfmhxue69uhhq7tjv9kkjepwve5kzar2v9nzucm0d5hszxmhwden5te0wfjkccte9emk2um5v4exucn5vvhxxmmd9us2xuyp had said "this is nostr and here is my library you all should use", I would have never done anything in Nostr.
Amethyst, Primal, Coracle, NoStrudel, and Damus and many other apps before and after us are all built from scratch.
No vendor lock in. No centralized dependencies. No core choke point to kill it all together.
True decentralization is hard. But it is worth every penny.

Yep, the funny thing is that even if he wanted to take control, he couldn't.
Just like Satoshi
What did I say that made you consider my judgement and why?
Not what you said per se, but your decision to not include Hivetalk.org, Relay.Tools, and Cornychat.com in your list of nostr apps.
I see your point, but that's such a small thing to question my judgement for. At least you agree with me that Lightning is a bad idea and that we should activate BIP-300 tomorrow?
I don't think it's small. You have a stake in certain projects succeeding and so you promote them over other, superior projects, saying those competitors "aren't real nostr clients" with no explanation given. I see this as a conflict of interest.
I've given plenty of explanation, wrote many notes about it. You may have not read them because maybe you don't follow me or your client didn't bother to fetch them from my relays.
Your client (presumably a real one) is including both of these tags:
[
"e",
"d1d65af7f31e675e6addd8586b195a52d123224256530a70681066ca2947a523",
"mention"
],
[

"",
"mention"
]
One is straight up malformed (the "mention" marker appears in the wrong position).
The other one means a quote is being mentioned or embedded (effectively the same meaning as the "q" tag).
The referenced note is one above in this thread: nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqwlsccluhy6xxsr6l9a9uhhxf75g85g8a709tprjcn4e42h053vaqqsfjxwpnmetcmfmc0070w0m3dh7ttqavgzgsufppw57ascnhvfc3eqj3mfsq
I suppose you didn't mean to mention that note, much less through a malformed tag.
I read one of your posts, and you displayed a lack of understanding of the features of those 3 apps in particular.
The biggest use of Nostr will be adding it to existing projects, not building new projects from scratch.
BIP300 is absolute centralizing garbage compared to Lightning. Ark is a better solution than BIP300
