This morning, I'm sharing images from a #drone flight over Verghia Beach in southern #Corsica.
Historically, this bay was an ancient port until around the 19th century.
On the rocks, you can see the remains of a World War II defense turret that ran aground.

For me, it was a gift from my brother.
I rediscovered places I'd always known. It's really fun to film with a drone.
You just have to remember that afterward, you have to add a little time to capture the best moments.
As for the drone itself, nothing to report; only the batteries are at the end of their life. After almost three years of use, that's decent.
Later generations can film directly vertically, which is great for framing and posting directly to Nostr.
And finally, it's really easy to use; you can let go of the controls and the drone won't flinch.
Just be careful if you fly it from your boat; if there's a problem, it will return to its starting point, but in the meantime, you may have moved π€£
