I think Dan is easy to dislike because of his pretentious and condescending tone, but the perception of intellectual superiority because of being a “veteran” and using this as credentialism for intellectual superiority is just 🤮

Compare that to someone with 30+ years who is humbling shows a totally different character than Dan.
He should become a corporate press journalist or a professor at a university. He’d fit right in.
