I’m always excited to draw boats and every time I’m quickly reminded how hard it is 😆 So many details!

Nautical people will always buy boat drawings. I think if you did a bunch, framed them and made a small art show setup you could get Fiat for more Satoshis.
Figure your time, material costs and show costs and then double that for the Fiat value.
Not a bad idea, thanks! My time is consumed by other projects atm but I will keep it in mind. I actually have a lot of sketches ready to sell but didn’t put the time into setting up an event, advertising etc
If you do themed drawings for boat shows, home shows and other events it might be a good thing to consider. The portable canopy and inexpensive Bungie cords with inexpensive tarps makes a nice shelter for sales. See how others do it at a show.
There are a lot of illustration markets in London, but a stall at one of them can be costly and you need to invest a lot upfront to create prints, zines or whatever it is you’d like to sell, and invest in a stall set up to grab attention too. I just want to sell a bunch of sketches I have so an online sale seems to me would be better for that.
