That’s so sad. I’ve been to Spain only once back in 2016. I have very fond memories of the visit and I loved Barcelona. Made these images from the interior of Sagrada Familia. Otherworldly experience. Yet outside the initial signs of decline were already visible.
Germany is probably next behind. But the wealth cushion is somewhat bigger, although Germans have much less real estate than other Europeans. Many cities already think about capping rental prices, which will pressure the income of those still owning things
