Stupid question but I need help:
I no longer want a hardware wallet
I JUST want to memorize 12 words and be able to log in somewhere online and check my balance/ transfer my balance
How can I do this? Seems like it should be the most basic of things

Sorry to say this but -- it is a super bad idea and please don't do this if you want to keep your funds safe. People over-estimate their memory...you forget the words or sequence, you will donating your coins! 😀
Use one of the wallets that can setup a watch only. E.g. electrum, bluewallet
Appreciate that but I trust my memory. I already memorize my seed phrases so who needs the hardware part
