To be Mr. Olympia? Drive, certainly. But if you don’t have elite tier genetics, absolutely no chance despite infinite drive. I.e. uniformly big muscle bellies, higher proportion of type2 muscles fibers, high androgen receptor density, longer legs, small waist/hips, myostatin gene mutations, and (perhaps most importantly) excellent response to steroids.

Or, in the case of Arnold’s farcical 1980 Olympia win, outright corruption.

You are right to a certain degree. However, how do you explain guys with no legs turning up for an ultra marathon? David Goggins ran 100 miles in less than 24 hours with just 3 days preparation. Ran on broken legs, shat and pissed himself, but managed it. Only drive and mindset helped him do that.

That’s completely different from Mr Olympia.

I'd say its easier to bulk up and lift than do ultra marathons.
