#bitcoin is a test of how good of a student you are in life generally. Are you honestly open minded?

Are you ready to admit that after years of education you lack knowledge of important and basic issues?

Are you ready to be humble and accept the fact that #bitcoin might be your lifetime study?

People love to be in "I know and I control this" kinda attitude and mindset. Somehow this bridges with ignorance quite a lot.

Most approach Bitcoin as this simple for them/ that's how it must be projected to masses/ digital money that is not real and a scam most probably. When it turns out that it is a complex issue they turn away.

To try and understand BTC you need to spent a lot of time studying a lot of things at once.

I don't think that comes easy.

That's why not many people understand Satoshi Nakamoto's invention.

Fucking aye, right on!

My morning coffee reflection. Lot of time I'm impressed by BTC concept in the morning 🤣

Yes this is how most humans operate. I have a personal theory that it's a product of evolution. Hear me out:

In a hunter-gatherer situation, a tribe of 150 people, what's more important.... being right, or agreeing with the tribe? In that situation you only need 3 or 4 guys to think for themselves and figure out what to do, and the other 147 people need to get the fuck in line and follow along. If every decision your tribe makes requires elaborate debate amount 150 rational actors you will never get anything done and the other tribe from over the hill is going to kill you and take your shit.

As with so many of our evolutionary aspects, this does not really work very well in the modern world. And that's the dilemma of us half-monkey, half-primitive tribesman trying to build a global society.

I also believe that most people are simply hard-wired to be followers and there is literally nothing you can ever do to turn them into honest and opening minded humble thinkers. At best you can simply convince them that you are right and to follow you instead of someone else.

Anyway... maybe I'm just cynical, but the few people I know who are like you say, honestly open minded, have been that way their whole lives... they seem hard-wired for it. And the rest are hard-wired to be sheep... or so it seems to me.

I totally agree. I feel like I'm hardwired for critical deep thinking and I developed that as a child. Since then I was lucky enough to not be groomed by corporations and life in general. Also I got way more problems because of this attitude but I don't give a fuck.
