Theatre & teaching, I am working to become a theatre educator! Thank you so much for asking, what did you go to school for?

Thats cool. I was kinda all over the place. Was in economics, dropped out after a semester, and then re-enrolled and spent a year and a half boosting my gpa and taking pre-reqs to switch majors to psychology.

They told me they picked names randomly and i didnt make the cut, and to try again in a year lol.

So i dropped out for a second time and did a coding bootcamp a few months later

Coding boot camp in my mind is a college degree 100%, my close friend did the same and has been a dev for over a decade now.

Shout out to you for trying again, and finding code, it’s an artform in my eyes. And your work helps small businesses all over America everyday :,))

(just realized you work for tidal not square so i apologize), how does it feel to work for tidal as a music lover? must be so cool

All good haha i actually worked there for 2 1/2 years before transferring to TIDAL. It’s pretty awesome yeah i definitely switched to be working on a product closer to my heart. I was struggling at square even though i think its a great product

you are now the reason why i will be using tidal now :) i was tired of spotify anyways, but knowing i will be using a service that someone i know worked on makes the music more special. even if it is just a virtual connection.

Epic lfg. Have you tried it before? Let me know if you enjoy it!

Def not as many features as spotify but i like the simplicity.

spotify’s features are pretty lackluster, i’ve only stayed because of my 40k liked songs i can’t let go.

i’ve only used tidal a few times, but not fully. Just signed up for a planned :) will let you know how it is for me

40k holy f.

There’s a feature to transfer playlists like that over, but i think 40k might be over the limit hehe

i’ve had the same account since i was 14 😭

I thought I hated school as well, that’s why I did HVAC instead of college. Among other issues that hindered my ability to go to college, I just didn’t ever think I was smart enough.

What changed that for me was when I was invited by my friend to tour her college campus, I didn’t think much of it, but as I walked into the library, I suddenly felt tears come on to no end. The envy I felt wasn’t malicious in the slight, but I longed to learn again. I now know I am smart enough.

I feel you. I definitely still love the idea of school in theory, and dream about going back in some specialized topic. I just got burned in practice i guess

definitely got played, you’re a gem, grateful for your presence on here. thank you for coming back

That’s awesome!!

I love school for the vibes and the social life, hard to beat. Didn’t learn much tho.

Also kinda bold of you to go into HVAC as a woman

if it weren’t for my dad, i don’t think i would’ve had the opportunity to go into it.

where did you go?

What are you studying?

so far i’m planning on theatre & education, but might delve into some sort of history. not entirely sure yet as i’m torn between becoming a history educator or a theatre educator

Nice where at

i got accepted into wash u and slu, but due to wash u’s insidious work with boeing, and being incredibly anti-palestine, i will be going to slu.

washu is dirrrtttyyy, beautiful campus, but they are probably one of the most boldly zionist schools in america

Ayeeee congrats

thank you my friend
