I thought I hated school as well, that’s why I did HVAC instead of college. Among other issues that hindered my ability to go to college, I just didn’t ever think I was smart enough.

What changed that for me was when I was invited by my friend to tour her college campus, I didn’t think much of it, but as I walked into the library, I suddenly felt tears come on to no end. The envy I felt wasn’t malicious in the slight, but I longed to learn again. I now know I am smart enough.

I feel you. I definitely still love the idea of school in theory, and dream about going back in some specialized topic. I just got burned in practice i guess

definitely got played, you’re a gem, grateful for your presence on here. thank you for coming back

That’s awesome!!

I love school for the vibes and the social life, hard to beat. Didn’t learn much tho.

Also kinda bold of you to go into HVAC as a woman

if it weren’t for my dad, i don’t think i would’ve had the opportunity to go into it.

where did you go?

What are you studying?

so far i’m planning on theatre & education, but might delve into some sort of history. not entirely sure yet as i’m torn between becoming a history educator or a theatre educator

Nice where at

i got accepted into wash u and slu, but due to wash u’s insidious work with boeing, and being incredibly anti-palestine, i will be going to slu.

washu is dirrrtttyyy, beautiful campus, but they are probably one of the most boldly zionist schools in america

Ayeeee congrats

thank you my friend
