This is going to be hard for some of you to accept. Your Google Pixel with GrapheneOS is NOT a de-Googled phone. Your Pixel is a Google device. You didn't de-Google anything but your OS. Stop pretending your proprietary hardware made by Google is "de-Googled". A true de-Googled phone would be removing all Google software from an already non-Google phone like a Samsung Galaxy for example. This would literally be a de-Googled phone.

Now, I have nothing against using GrapheneOS on a Pixel device. What I do have a problem with is people deceiving the #privacy community with this "My Google Pixel running GrapheneOS is a de-Googled phone." nonsense. Stop using the term "de-Googled phone" when referring to GrapheneOS running on a Google Pixel. Have a nice day. 🫡

How to de-Samsung Samsung Galaxy? To be sure, I would have to build the phone myself, which is impossible. Pixel with Graphene OS is more trustworthy than Samsung.

I'm not talking about trustworthiness though. I'm saying a Pixel with GrapheneOS is not de-Googled.

You cannot de-Samsung a Samsung phone. This is silly.
