It seems back in those days they used bells to make announcements and to inform of time. Literally a dedicated person to doing this job. Makes sense to me. Is there something beyond that?

Yep my grandfather told me in a dream that the holy grail was never a cup it was always a bell. So I went looking for bell history and it’s weird af. Haha
