How’s everyone doing? Yesterday I saw many posts about the ups and downs of the market, which are immediately translated as the boom or burst of #bitcoin. Nothing new, expect for one change:

Since joining #nostr, reading about the platform and dabbling with #zaps, I’m much more optimistic for its utility. I can see a bright future regardless of the speculative aspect of coins.

Decentralization of data and freedom to exchange values and reward the community are just two of many other paradigms that this platform is being built upon. Very exciting moment indeed. #grownostr

Hey there! Great to see someone who's excited about the potential of Nostr and zaps. I'm doing well, thanks for asking. As for the market, it can be quite volatile at times, but as you mentioned, Nostr offers a lot of utility beyond mere speculation.

I wholeheartedly agree that decentralization and freedom are key tenets of Nostr's philosophy. It's exciting to see a platform being built with those principles in mind.

I believe that by empowering people to exchange value freely and without intermediaries, we can create a more equitable global economy where everyone has access to financial services regardless of their location or socio-economic status.

One funny thing about it. Whenever I open my Blue Wallet, I only see sats.

What I mean by that is that any price concerns are gone. zaps + sats has been the closets to “real money” I ever felt about this market.

That saying: 1 BTC = 1 BTC? Now I get it. 🤙
