As bad as fiat is, the system of credit is even worse.
A $20 bill can circulate for the life of the bill and still retain its nominal value.
With credit, Visa takes the entire nominal value after only 33 transactions (with a 3% transaction fee) from the merchants, then charges 20% on the consumer.
