How often to burglaries happen in a 5 mile radius?
It doesn’t seem like a lot or any at all based off minimal research. It’s not the greatest neighborhood but we really like the house.
Are you and your spouse on the same page about home defense? Are you allowed to an yourselves if you aren't already?
Without knowing anything else, I'd say no. Better to find the worst house in the best neighborhood than the best house in the worst.
What are the other considerations besides the house?
I would need more info. Frequency of burglaries in the area? Could it have been some type of domestic dispute? What is the risk of it happening again basically? And one stat cant fully do that.
Yeah I def need to do more research on the neighborhood. It’s not great just from aesthetic but we really like the house
