People can provide association signal (~verification) with NIP-05 (especially with their own domain), or posting their npub on another pre-existing social profile.

We don't trust here, we need verifications & proofs.

So your "Yes" is just a little hint that it may be true, but pls use the tools we build exactly for cases like this.
