I still see it. Let me try deleting cache

how does njump capture that so quickly but not update profiles as fast?

i tried to delete it again just now using the nevent instead of note

goddangit

blah

yeah multiple deletes don't go away. maybe it needs to be private relay then with nip 42 auth only so nobody else can see it? hmmmm

The nos folks have experience with delete. You can ask what they learned

Cache

i can speculate that they open long running subscriptions to all the relays and feed them into a giant fucking database

i literally just wrote a "firehose" thing using fiatjaf's go-nostr relay pool library a couple days ago - just set the kinds in the filter and out they come

i'm working on a multi-protocol aggregator and this is how the garbage flows from Bluesky firehoses too, nostr just doesn't have a special stupid shitcoin dev name for it

Wrong, we don't have a huge database, we fetch events at request time and cache them for some days at most.

yes, absolutely! I would like to have the possibility of getting my deleted note off of njump.me if nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 is willing.

this whole thread was about experimenting with deleting events and all events were deleted off of relays except njump
