Just got a crisp $2 bill for change last week
When I used to have to go to the bank every other week to cash my paycheck, I would always ask them to give me $20 worth or $2 bills and then I would go spend them around town. I should start doing that again.
Get some 50¢ pieces too while you are at it.

Steve Wozniak used to glue the edges together and create tear-off money books. He would tear off a bill to pay at restaurants and stuff. People watched him do this and hijinks ensued, which was the whole point.
When I was a teenager we visited our Australian mint where I paid $5 for a $2 coin that I watched get stamped by a big machine.
It's not the worst thing I wasted money on as a teenager.

I never really understood the $2 bill. When I was a kid, my grandma used to send me one every year on my birthday. I was always amused by them.
