yeah its hard to explain to people. i would chose this over a gas mower.
Absolutely! We have the scythe and a reel mower. The reel mower is fun as long as the blades are sharp and there are no sticks, so a very small portion of our yard is mowable with it.
It's sort of a rocking/shuffle/twisty motion.
