Can anyone please explain to me why this #boat is watering the water on the river Ij in #amsterdam? There has to be a reason for it but I can’t think for the life of me what it is 😂

Aeration? If no oxygen in water some systems can be anaerobic and cause toxic algae blooms. Don't know the specificsof that river tho
