Traveling back, I get a survey call: “Where have you been? What work are you doing abroad? When are you coming back?” I’ve lived abroad for years, submitted all the documents to show I’m settled, yet these calls come several times a year. Claimed to be for “citizen safety,” they often feel like invasions of privacy, making me wonder if I’ve done something wrong.

It’s similar to why I created the decentralized media client, Yakihonne. Certain topics are always censored or deleted, and using a VPN draws strange looks, as if I’m guilty just for seeking open information. But it’s simply about personal rights.

When I asked how they knew my travel information, the caller honestly told me: phone location tracking. At that moment, I decided to cancel my home country’s phone number and bank account.

The limitless censorship is making you increasingly disillusioned with a country.

Hi, Wendy dear!

Privacy is not a crime, but they want us to feel guilty.... we'll overcome!!

YakiHonne is a wonderful tool, as you showed me at "La Crypta".

Thanks a lot... we'll continue struggling for our privacy and sovereignty!!!!

A big hug

Wow! Check out silent link... I mean, that way, nobody is tracking you (at least not so easily)...

There's a reason why mobile phones...

- have gps support

- have non removable batteries

- can connect to towers without a sim card

- often have forms of transmission when in airplane mode.

Use godark other bags for phones when not in use. Consider a 1 way pager for receipt of critical messages
