Homes built in the future will have a micro nuclear reactor for power with a data center for all heating & cooling
Discussion
I wish.
Someday 🤔 probably not in our lifetimes tho
Probably not.
But I can still build a very reliable off grid system.
Yes this is the way….
I’m currently looking at the possibility of doing a solar after I get a new roof put on or doing a solar roof… got to talk to the ins about it still.
You'll want to get several quotes from installers. Many are going to charge way too much to do the job, especially if insurance is involved.
Ins would only be involved for possible payout instead of a new roof (hail damage claim for replacement)
Right.
You'll still want to have your roof support structure assessed to determine if it can handle the additional load, as many offer roofs were not built with the additional stresses that panels put on roofs.
If you're going to pay an installer, try to find a local dude who does it. If you can find a guy, you can spec out a better system with better components that you source yourself and just pay for install labor.
