I played the Pearl version, then Emerald when it came out later.

Black & White 2 was a good time too.

When it went 3d I couldn’t do it anymore. I tried sun and puked.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of sun/moon. I didn't try the Ultra versions of those game. Then, I played sword & shield on the switch, and didn't care much for them either.
