I’m not super familiar but can’t you invest 529 plan funds into the market? And if so why not a bitcoin exposed investable instrument? If you get tax benefits etc might make sense. Im ignorant about those plans though.

Yea I’m definitely curious as a friend brought this up to me and asked me and I said I have about 1k in a 529 and the rest I’m just stacking bitcoin for her.

But curious what’s the better move

Wish I could be more help brother. We’ve got to leverage the system until we eat it.

Also

Initially too for her is to stack bitcoin and borrow against that fund. Pay for her education while still keeping the bitcoin for which she can then use to buy a home, or use that same Bitcoin as collateral to buy a home and still keep the Bitcoin.

Great point and it may be that education that isn’t covered by those plans might be even better still. My son is young and I don’t have a clue what he’ll

Need

A decade

From now.

Yea I would say to stack Sats for him

My daughter is 2 and that’s what I’m doing monthly even if it’s only $25 a month or even $5

Just doing it and being consistent with it is important I feel

Ya depends so much on what money you have. Certainty has value and cost.
