Wait… Nostr mail?!

(Sort of have that with 0xChat and NIP-44 implemented on clients…probably is not everyone wants to add another Nostr client).
I appreciate all the clients that default to NIP-44 I just wish it was that way across the board.
Mail and DMs can share the same underlying tech. It’s just presented differently. One optimizing for async communication, subject, etc
Totally, and with long form content (ie articles) the foundation is there…
Basically just need to reimagine / apply the articles framework to DM’s.
Obviously in a perfect world there would be a “mail client”
However I don’t know why that is needed when you look at project management platforms and team coms these days…email is dead really and every com occurs on a specific task/project or via DMs (inbox) inside the platform.
For me personally, I’m just thinking how Nostr Mail would get me further away from google…but I could also just use NextCloud or similar FOSS mail solution with my own domain.
So I guess the point of Nostr Mail for me would be easy secure email a la NIP-44 DMs
